Through this site we would like to share our enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, classic lightweight bicycles, particularly those built in Britain and Italy. Contributions from other lightweight enthusiasts are welcome including images and details of machines or components of particular interest.

The aim of Trailer Trash was to build bespoke bicycle trailers out of recycled materials. To promote more small local businesses to use bikes instead of cars, to find useful ways of using scrap and common materials, to learn how to weld.

This is a project aiming to provide free bicycles to underprivileged groups that would not otherwise have the opportunity to own a bicycle.

Many African children live in remote communities, a long way from their nearest school. Without reliable, affordable, motorised transport the only way these children get to school is to walk. In searing heat, their journey to education on foot is a daily epic mission. Having a bicycle makes a world of difference for these children, and for their families and communities too.
